Innovative designs and new products combine with proven technologies to present opportunities to increase the livability, sustainability, and efficiency of homes.  Our quality minded craftsmen, subcontractors and vendors, mesh their experience and product information to produce a home that maximizes thermal efficiency and functionality while minimizing the environmental impact.

There is no better place to live, or people to live among, than in Northern Idaho.  Surrounding you is the breathtaking beauty and diversity of the Selkirk Mountains, the grandeur of Lake Pend Oreille, and the fun of Schweitzer Mountain Resort.  When you make the choice to make Sandpoint your home, we can help you create your living space.

About Jim Dustman

Jim Dustman, like so many others, came to Sandpoint to visit and will stay for a lifetime.  ‘Green’ building is consistent with Jim’s belief in the wise use of natural resources and the production of comfortable, energy efficient, and sustainable homes.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, ten years experience in the weatherization industry, and 25 years owning and operating a general contacting company, make Jim uniquely qualified to assist with your project.

Serving the Sandpoint area since March of 2003, Dustman Enterprises, LLC offers clients planning, design, management and construction of new residential buildings, as well as repairs and remodeling on existing homes.

In June of 2009, Jim completed the certification process as a Residential Energy Auditor/Inspector for the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) through the Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) and the Northwest Energy Education Institute (NEEI).  This certification qualifies Jim to conduct energy audits, thereby helping homeowners and tenants determine how energy is being used in their homes; implement appropriate energy-saving measures; and understand the amount of investment those measures will cost and how quickly they will pay for themselves.

Service is now offered for commercial building and commercial lighting audits after continued training through Northwest Public Power Association in 2010.
